Founder, Sarah Flack Lopez, brings to Transcend Marketing & Events a diverse background of experiences. Over 12 years experience in events has prepared her to utilize the most innovative and effective tools and approaches to create high quality and unique events. From high profile board meetings and large conferences to corporate holiday parties and large scale event productions – including sponsorship management – Transcend Marketing & Events completes every project with the highest quality and efficiency.
A graduate of Boston University, Sarah began her career by providing event assistance to the then Governor of Utah, Michael Leavitt, during the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics. After the Olympics, Sarah moved back to her native DC and joined the Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group Inc. (now known as FBR Capital Markets). During Sarah’s time at FBR, her initial duties spanned a broad range of planning large-scale conferences and important company and client entertaining trips in conjunction with such sporting events as Wimbledon, the Masters and the Ryder Cup, as well as company retreats, board meetings and holiday parties. When FBR subsequently became the title sponsor of the FBR Open in Phoenix, Sarah served as the firm’s manager and planner of its role in the largest tournament on the PGA TOUR.
In 2008 Sarah became a consultant to FBR in order to follow her dream and founded Transcend Marketing & Events with her first new client being BIG SKY Night Committee. In this project, Transcend Marketing & Events was hired to conceptualize, design and manage the Party for the State of Montana at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. This event was so successful Transcend Marketing & Events has continued this relationship through the 2012 Democratic National Convention as well as 2009 and 2013 Presidential Inaugurations.
Since 2008, Transcend Marketing & Events has built a wide range of clients across the corporate, political and non-profit spectrum.
